Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2016 / 1437H

Hi, 

Dah lama tak bersiaran. Kekangan masa dan aktivit yang banyak tak cukup masa nak berblogging.
Selamat Hari Raya kepada semua maaf zahir dan batin andai kata terlepas kata. 

This year turn balik raya ke Penang,Alhamdulillah dapat cuti lama kali ini 12 hari. Sempat la buat open house pada Raya ke 3 dan Raya ke 4. Mainly raya ke 3 buat jamuan untuk geng-geng sekolah menengah.Geng budak asrama.Dapat la berkumpul 11 out of 13 orang ahli bilik. Itu pun dah cukup gamat. Macam-macam nak cerita  dan bertanya khabar. 

Makanan untuk hari raya ke 3 .Antaranya Laksa Penang , Tapai , Devil's Chocolate Cake, Homemade rojak buah , fruits cake , caramel dan menu istimewa Kuzi Ayam ( masakan Kelantan ) oleh  Cik Elli .

Rojak Buah ( kuah rojak homemade)

Resepi Kuah Rojak
  • 1 botol Kicap Kipas Udang /ABC 
  • 1 mangkuk sederhana cili 
  • 1 botol sos cili Life
  • 1 ketul belacan ( letak lebih kalau suka )
  • 4 ketul gula melaka
  • 1 cawan gula pasir
Masak cili sampai kering. Masukkan kicap ,sos ,belacan , gula melaka , gula pasir. Tunggu sampai pekat, Siap untuk di makan.Gaul dengan kacang dan bijan jika suka,

Recipe for Rosemary Roasted Potato




Today's menu Roasted Chicken with side dishes Rosemary  roasted potato,coleslaw and baked vege. Appetiser  Homemade Mushroom Soup and Garlic Bread.

Recipe for Rosemary Roasted Potato 

1.5 kg Chat Potato -cleaned and wash
3 sprigs  rosemary  
1 bulb garlic  
1 lemon
Salt and pepper 
Olive oil

Method:

Boiled potato with garlic(do not  peel the skin)  and lemon in a pot for only 15 min.Tossed to dry.

Spread the potato and the condiment  on the tray.Drizzle olive oil and mixed the rosemary.

Baked for 30 min with the temperature  180C .

Coconut Ice Cream



My first attempt making the Coconut Ice Cream without the ice cream maker. Not bad !!

Here the recipe.

1 can condensed milk 
2 can coconut water
1 pandan leaf
3 tbsp coconut milk
3 tbsp whipping cream
1 tsp ovallet 

Method:
Mix condensed milk and coconut water with pandan leaf in pot.Cooked until mixture come to rolling boiling.Remove from heat and let it cool.
Transfer to container preferable stainless steel. Put in the freezer minimum of 4 hour.
After 4 hour bring it to room temperature and whisk with all ur heart.return back to container and freeze it overnight. #elfizarecipe

Homemade mushroom soup


Homemade Cream of Mushroom Soup

2 pkt Swiss Brown Mushroom 
2 pkt Oyster /Edogi Mushroom 
1 litre Cooking Cream
1 Holland Onion - diced
4 clove garlic
3 sprigs Fresh Thyme
2 stalk leek -diced
Olive oil
Celery
1.5 litre chicken stock
Salt and black pepper

Slice the mushroom.In a pot sauté onion ,garlic,leek,celery and mushroom with olive oil. 
Pour in the chicken stock and let it simmer. By using hand blender /blender blend the mixture until smooth.Put in the cooking cream and let it boil 2 times .The soup is ready best serve with garlic bread.

Breakfast Pizza Spinach and Cheese

Breakfast Pizza Spinach & Cheese

Gardenia Bread
1 can Prego Tomato & Basil 
Garlic butter (normal butter also just do)
Spinach - diced and blanch
Mozarella Cheese

Instruction :
 Spread the bread with butter
Pour and rub prego tomato sauce on bread .Put on the spinach and smooth the mozzarella cheese as much as u like Baked in oven for 18 min at 180 C .
Ready to eat

Spaghetti Meatballs in Tomato Sauce






Good Morning Sweetheart..Spaghetti Meatball in luscious Tomato Sauce and parmesan cheese for today's brunch bento #elfizarecipe

1 pkt spaghetti 
1 can diced tomato
400gm cherry tomato -diced
1 yellow onion
5 cloves garlic
1 tbsp Italian herbs
20 pcs meatball
1 bell pepper - diced
Salt & pepper 
Parmesan cheese

Method:

Cook spaghetti in boiling water until al dente

Sauté onion garlic bell pepper and italian herbs 

Put in cherry tomato and stir until soft.Pour in diced tomato cook until the liquid thickens. 

Next put in the meatballs.Let it simmer until your desire consistency.

Serve spaghetti with the meatballs and tomato sauce.Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.

My version of Cantonese Koew Tiaw




My version of Cantonese  Koew Tiaw for today's  lunch .

Fiza's Cantonese  Koew Tiaw

1 bungkus koew tiaw 
Baby corn 
Cauliflower
Carrot
Kubis
Sawi hijau 
Bawang putih 
Bawang merah -di potong baji 
Ayam didadu
Fish ball 
Cili Padi 
Tomato

Bahan sos 
2 sudu makan sos tiram 
1 sudu makan sos ikan
1 sudu teh minyak bijan 
2 ketul kiub ikan bilis 
Garam
2 biji telur putih
1 sudu makan tepung jagung 
1 liter air

Cara-cara:
Tumis bawang putih hingga perang
Masukkan fish ball dan ayam.D (terpulang nak tambah lauk apa lagi )
Masukkan bahan sos kecuali tepung jagung dan telur putih.
Masukkan air masak hingga mendidih.Selepas itu di ikuti oleh semua sayuran kecuali kubis dan sawi.
Bila semua dah masak buka api besar tuang telur putih kacau laju-laju.Last sekali masuk kan tepung jagung  masak lagi 1 minit dan tutup api .
Akhir sekali masuk kan sawi dan kubis.
Sedia utk di hidangkan.Celur koew tiaw masuk dalam mangkuk dan tuang kuah .
